About the work
I am always searching for the complicity of pigment and light. When the brush pierces the cocoon of perception, matter reveals itself with a violent tenderness. Before language was born, touch was the only means of communion; matter and consciousness trembled at the same frequency in the dark. The fluorescence in the painting is not decoration, but a trap for perception. It draws you closer, yet at the instant of contact, every definition of “beauty” collapses into an aria of stardust.
