Painting as a meeting place
between the viewer and the infinite.

With a master’s degree in printmaking from the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples, her practice draws on Renaissance humanism to explore relationships between matter, consciousness and time through abstraction.

Acrylic, beeswax, natural materials and metal foil meet on the canvas. Geometry and colour, order and chance form her visual language.

My practice is rooted in the Renaissance’s profound exploration of the human spirit, yet reconstructs spiritual narratives in a contemporary context through a nonfigurative visual language. While studying in Italy, investigations of perspective, anatomy and the sacred in classical art became philosophical reflections on the dimensions of time and space. The canvas becomes a field where matter and spirit overlap. Geometric forms and pure colour carry emotional tremors through rational order, while fissuring textures and experiments with the physical properties of materials evoke increasing entropy and rebirth within the cycle of life.

Inspired by transcendentalism, I try to strip away the certainty of appearances. Through layered colour fields, collisions between mineral pigments and metal foil, and traces left by chance, I seek to capture momentary resonances between consciousness and the universe. The fusion of acrylic, beeswax and natural materials builds structures like microscopic star charts, questioning the nature of existence through abstraction. Those ineffable flashes of insight finally become visible through the frequencies of colour and the rearrangement of matter.

For me, creating is a meditation that never ends. Building on the rational inheritance of the Renaissance, I engage with Eastern culture and quantum poetics, making painting an interface through which viewers can converse with the infinite. Every work is a slice of spacetime, pointing towards a metaphysical experience beyond sight.
